Music has been shown to have various positive effects on dogs in different settings. However, by measuring dogs’ heart rates, researchers have recently discovered that dogs were most relaxed and at ease when listening to reggae and soft rock. The dogs spent more time lying down and relaxing specifically when listening to these genres. Classical music has also shown many positive and calming effects on dogs, and it has even been suggested that dogs do in fact have their own musical preferences and tastes.

So you can expect your dogs to enjoy some chilled tunes at K9 Anytime Doggy Daycare & Luxury Dog Hotel. We play reggae and classical music during nap times and throughout the evening, and can even compile a playlist of your dog’s favourite hits!
